LFD Machined Gear Set

Swapped out the stock gears and the 48-pitch machining is visibly cleaner than what came with it. Shifts feel crisper on the trail, no slop or binding so far. Took about twenty minutes to install, totally worth it.

Put this in my LFD transmission and the fit was perfect—no shims needed to get the mesh right. It meshes quietly under load, which tells me the machining tolerances are tight. Exactly what I was hoping for with a 48-pitch set.

The 48-pitch machining is noticeably smoother than the stock gears I’ve handled, and the fit in the LFD housing was precise with zero slop. No break-in noise or binding after a few packs through it, so I’m happy with how solid this set feels.
